Xenia Hammon – Project Work

Xenia joined CompliSpace in 2014 having previously worked as a lawyer in Melbourne for six years.  Xenia was a lawyer at a leading Australian law firm in their corporate team before taking up the role of in-house Legal Advisor at an ASX listed company.  Xenia has experience in Australian and international law on various areas of commercial practice. She is currently completing a Graduate Diploma of Applied Corporate Governance at the Governance Institute of Australia.

Xenia manages a national team of legally trained staff who monitor, research and interpret laws, regulation, codes, standards and guidance in all states and territories.  CompliSpace prides itself of taking complex governance, risk and compliance obligations and translating them into commercial and easy to read content for its clients in various industries including education, financial services and the not-for-profit sector.   Xenia’s team is responsible for the delivery of CompliSpace’s policies, procedures, training, briefing papers and other key resources to clients across various mediums including social media and an integrated digital policy and assurance framework.

Her team is also responsible for the publication of CompliSpace’s online content including the School Governance website.

Cara Novakovic – Content Product Manager

Cara is a Content Product Manager in the Editorial Department. 
 
She works predominantly with education clients to ensure ongoing compliance with the myriad of laws, regulations and guidance notes that apply to schools across Australia. Cara’s key area of expertise is Child Protection governance, risk and compliance.
 
Cara combines knowledge and skills stemming from both a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications (Journalism) and a Juris Doctor from the University of Technology, Sydney to develop comprehensive governance, risk and compliance programs for clients in each State and Territory of Australia.

Mark Bryan – Legal Research Consultant

Mark is a Legal Research Consultant with the Editorial Team in our Sydney Office.

With a background in law and creative writing, he has worked as a Lead Writer/Editor for the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse and as a Legal Policy Officer for Justice NSW and the Family Safety Branch of the Commonwealth Attorney-General’s Department.

Mark is a recovering screenwriter with far too much knowledge of 90s film trivia.
