Ben has assisted a wide range of clients in both the education and commercial sectors. His work focuses around the implementation phase; from system set up, content tailoring, integrating the platform with client systems and all the way to the launch of the system. Ben also works closely with clients, training and engaging with them to expand their knowledge of the system in order for them to be able to get the most out of our suite of products.
Ben graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration from Macquarie University.
Eliot graduated with a BA (Hons) in Journalism at University of Westminster in 2014. He has worked as a news editor for multiple publications where he focused on political and international stories. Eliot went on to be the sub-editor at a technology start-up in London before working as a sub-editor for one of the largest metadata companies in the world. His work in these fields has positioned him to understand the importance of technology and content and how they can work together. As an associate, Eliot works with our clients to make sure they are getting the most out of our products. In his spare time Eliot can be found wearing the Red & White of Sydney Swans.
Jonathan is a Senior Consultant working with CompliSpace school clients. He has more than 10 years experience in the school sector as a teacher, compliance and legal adviser and more recently as a Business Manager. Jonathan has been a solicitor for nearly 30 years and worked in both private practice and community legal centres.
Svetlana is a Senior Consultant at CompliSpace. She has over 20 years of experience in strategic and operational human resource management, occupational health and safety, and design and implementation of policies and change management programs.
She has held national people management responsibility positions in the public and private sectors, and is now the content specialist at CompliSpace for harmonised WHS (and OHS in the other two States), HR, and general compliance matters for not for profits.
She holds a LLB , Masters in Management (MBA), Master of Arts in Journalism, and a Certificate in Governance for not-for-profits.
Declan is an Associate currently working in Operations at CompliSpace. He came on board with us in January 2017 after interning as a management consultant, working as a financial analyst, voice artist and debating coach. While working predominantly on school implementation, he has a keen eye for process improvement, and is involved with several internal change management projects.
Declan holds a Bachelor of Commerce/Arts from UNSW, specialising in Finance, Sociology and Philosophy.
In his spare time, he’s a keen chess player, avid reader and aspiring linguist.
Craig is our National Education Consultant. He provides direction on education matters including new products, module content and training. He also regularly contributes to School Governance, briefing papers and School Risk and User Experience Surveys.
Craig was most recently the Industrial Officer at the Association of Independent Schools WA. He provided HR, industrial advice and professional development for school executive staff and governance support, constitution advice and professional development for boards.
Since 1983, Craig has had teaching experience in both the independent and catholic sectors.He was the Principal of a K-12 independent school and Deputy Principal of a systemic K-12 independent school and he is currently a board member of an independent school. Craig holds a Dip.T. in Science, a B.Ed. in Ed. Management and an M.Ed. in Curriculum Development and he is a long-standing member of the Australian College of Educators.
David has over 20 years’ experience in risk, compliance and corporate governance, providing advice to a range of industries. He has held board positions with several listed companies, a corporate advisory firm and a local not-for-profit organisation, and is currently a director at an independent public school. He holds postgraduate qualifications in compliance and risk from Charles Sturt University and is a graduate of the Governance Institute of Australia for whom he also lectures and speaks on compliance matters.
Hellenna is a consultant specialising in the Education sector. She is a qualified lawyer with over a decade of combined legal and commercial experience working in various capacities. She has extensive experience in working, at a practical level, with K-12 non-government schools in Western Australia, to implement governance, risk, compliance and policy management frameworks, and to facilitate change management where improved compliance cultures are required. She is currently completing a Graduate Diploma in Applied Corporate Governance at the Governance Institute of Australia and holds a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce (Majoring in Human Resource Management) from Murdoch University, and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from The College of Law Australia.
Originally hailing from Perth, Jo is a Consultant in the Melbourne Office. She completed a Bachelor of Laws at the University of Western Australia and worked as a Family Lawyer for seven years before joining CompliSpace. Jo’s area of expertise is child protection.
Jo is a mad supporter of the Fremantle Dockers and loves all things Polish.
Following completion in 2002 of her UTS Business Degree, Ellen started her career in project management and governance. Joining CompliSpace in 2004, Ellen has spent her 12 years at CompliSpace working across all aspects of the business including administration, R&D, operations, technology, sales and marketing. Her main passion is project management and developing productive working relationships with clients and key stakeholders. Based in Canberra for the last 4 years, Ellen is our Operations Projects Coordinator in the ACT.
In her spare time, Ellen is a devoted mother of two young children, heavily involved in the P&F Association at their school and enjoys gardening in her spare time.
