Valuing education, Penelope holds a number of qualifications including a post graduate diploma in Applied Corporate Governance, a Bachelor of Science (Medical Science), a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Western Australia, a Cert IV in Workplace Health and Safety, as well as a Certificate in Governance and Risk Management from the Governance Institute.
