Challenge

St Mary of the Angels Secondary College (SMOTA) is a co-ed college of 585 students in Nathalia, VIC. SMOTA wanted and needed to be more efficient in its handling of risk, safety and compliance. CompliSpace helped with ensuring that their processes and procedures are efficient and safe.

Solution

CompliSpace has worked with SMOTA to implement CompliSpace Education – Policy Management System and Assurance – following the “Policy to Culture” framework.

SMOTA are star users of Policy Management System and have embraced the use of both Policy Management and the Risk/Task Assurance framework at their College.

They actively make both systems their own, and encourage staff interaction and engagement with the sites. In particular, using Safety, maintenance and hazards.

Complispace helped with ensuring SMOTA’s processes and procedures are efficient and safe. The College used the Policy Management platform to create a visible and interactive audit trail of their VRQA Pastoral Wellbeing requirements with live links out to all relevant evidentiary documents.

The ease of demonstrating evidence documents and relevant policies to auditors, meant a smooth audit process, which was painless for the college.
